Fresh Air, Organic Food & A Farm That's Reminiscent of Home!

Yasmin Farms: Modern Ethical Farming

By Millie

In a world where canned goods and hormone-induced foods are considered as a staple, Yasmin Farms bloomed to make its own natural, pesticide and hormone-free world that supplies every home in Kuwait with fresh and healthy foods.

With nearly 1,600 livestock including cows, chicken, sheep and goats, Yasmin Farms is the only farm in Kuwait that has a comprehensive cycle that effectively and safely utilizes its farm animals; Alban Dairy uses the milk from the cows and goats while Tamana Al Khair’s free-range eggs come from the chickens.

Another naturally fresh commodity Yasmin Farms brings to the table is its wide range of vegetables that are available across Kuwait through Farmers Market’s distribution network. Yasmin Farms is the main manager behind eco-friendly operations in the farm including processing cow manure to make fertilizer, maintaining the water treatment plant as well as recycling and manufacturing the company’s very own plastic containers.

In addition to being a working farm, there is also a café that produces homemade delicacies from the fruits of the land and a petting farm too.

Rather than write anymore about how fabulous this place is we thought we would share some reviews with you:

Visited here yesterday. Absolutely brilliant. The children and adults had a fabulous time. It was such a lovely experience seeing animals being so well looked after, being able to pet them and feed them too. It was hard to believe it was in Kuwait. Steven, Sara and the team are doing an amazing job. Thank you!! We will be back to visit soon. Elizabeth Hamid

Fantastic family day out for any age ... gorgeous home cooked food and lovely hospitality... felt like we were in England for the day ... refreshing x Rachel Mhawech

The experience is one to remember. On entering the farm, we found it very neat, clean and well maintained. The people were very friendly as well. It was great fun to feed the animals and hold the bunnies. A great place for the kids to learn about the animals too. Knowing that the people take initiatives to reuse water and resources for the crops and be successful as well was very impressive. My only negative constructive criticism would be that there is no directions for the men's toilet. The farm produce were beautiful and fresh as well. Rick Mathew Philip
