for a Healthy Heart and Weight Loss Benefits

It is very easy to pass our days, without realising that we have not done any form of exercise for extended periods of time, but as I look outside, what an exciting time of year for Kuwait! I can’t help but feel that we all need to make the most of this perfect weather and it really is as simple as putting on some comfortable walking shoes and going for a half an hour walk.
There is now evidence that suggests that regular brisk walks could be as good for us, if not better, than strenuous jogging. Regular walking like most aerobic activities, is good for you because cardio vascular exercise strengthens the heart and lungs, increasing overall fitness, which together with a healthy diet can lead to weight loss and an increase in muscle tone . The secret is shifting from the typical window shopping stroll to a more athletic gait and pace, at least 5km per hour, so that your heart rate is between 130 to a 150 beats per minute, depending on your age. It's time to get started and embrace a healthy new lifestyle.
