More Restaurants Than You Can Imagine

The Q8 Food Festival will be held in just seven weeks!

By LivinQ8
By now you probably know the Festival will spotlight Celebrity Chef demonstrations, live music, fun activities for the kids, a Farmer’s Market and gourmet products to shop for…but what you really want to know is…What will there be to EAT??
The dozens of restaurants on board include an amazing array of sumptuous cuisine from around the world.  Featuring a multicultural assortment including many concepts created from local culinary talent right here in Kuwait. For instance, Chef Ahmed Bader’s unique restaurant conceptions, seven of which will be featured at the Festival, including Pintxos, Pickles, Pizzetta, Wok Hay, Mearmisha, Wasabi, and Butcher’s Den.
MMC Catering will feature six of their restaurants at the Festival, including Dikakeen, with Kuwaiti Street Food and Rice, a concept of all dishes served with rice.  Then there is Nagwar, with local Kuwaiti sweets and confections, plus Café Meem, Crimson Garden and the very well known, Le Notre.
China Garden, another local concept, where the Kuwaiti owners, Ahmed and Ahmad, went all the way to China to learn the secret art of noodle making.  And, they vow to serve nothing from a jar…everything, including their sauces, are home made!  Also from the Asian continent are Sakura and Wasabi, serving up Japanese cuisine.
Other choices include internationally-renown restaurants like Nina’s of Paris, Figs, and Alfredo’s Gallery.  To round out the multicultural flavor of the event, Copper Chimney, featuring Indian fare, and Naranj with Syrian,  Shebastan, with Iranian and Ayam Zamam with some of the best Lebanese food in Kuwait.
And we won’t have just any burgers and pizza.  We have found some over the top great choices, with Pizzeria Amami bringing in their Stone Oven into the Festival with a crane to make their authentic pizza!  La Brasa Argentine Grill flies their beef in directly from Argentina, and Elevation Burger will be grilling some of the best burgers this side of Texas.
There isn’t a continent or cuisine that we haven’t sought and found…. so bring your appetite.  You don’t want to miss this!
