The longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century is set to take place on Friday, July 27 and it turns out that Kuwait is one of the top spots on the planet to watch it play out.
Time compiled a list of the five best places around the globe to catch the four-hour celestial spectacle based on where would have the clearest skies and the longest window of time it will be visible in the night sky.
Other optimum viewing spots include Cario, Santorini, Limassol and Harare in Zimbabwe.
The eclipse will begin at 10.30pm local time on Friday, July 27 and last until 12.13am on Saturday, July 28.
The article recommends heading inland to catch the eclipse as there will be less cloud cover, or even booking a room in one of Kuwaits skyscraper hotels.
