JUNA’S EATERY

Established in 2012 located in Salmiya has a unique yet simple philosophy in providing plant based options for their dishes. But what I think I loved most about them is that they have a menu plan that changes monthly and I also love how they explain the benefits of their ingredients used in their cooking. For instance did you know why they love Sourdough so much….? Sourdough goes through a fermentation process the helps with the digestion of gluten (I know I had no idea either!), making it a great option for people with insulin sensitivity and the enzymes will also assist in having a healthy gut! They only use Organic Seaweed that are free from heavy metals.

Other dishes include their Vegan Labneh which is on the menu every Sunday; their Indian Curry comes with Gluten Free Brown Rice Bread.

Tabouleh Twist with activated nuts – walnuts in this particular dish. What are active nuts you may ask, they have ‘alive enzymes’ which are essential in the digestive process allowing us to benefit from them.

Lets not forget on Thursday you can the Hazelnut Cream Cake using activated nuts! They also have an Ice Cream Sandwich with a cacao sauce, which I must try!

Find them at:

Salmiya, Salem Almubarak St Abdulwahap complex Basement - 10am – 10pm, Closed Friday
