Not only will the Q8 Food Festival have great restaurants, famous Celebrity Chefs, beautiful VIP suites, and games for the kids…but it will have non stop music during the entire event.
And, not just any music. The Festival is proud to announce two fantastic musical groups that have a following throughout Kuwait.
The Kuwait Jazz Trio is Kuwaits premier jazz instrumental ensemble, providing musical entertainment to all those who enjoy jazz.
With more than one hundred standard and Modern jazz, ballads, and Latin Jazz pieces in our repertoire, the Kuwait Jazz Trio has performed at hundreds of events, Jazz Nights, and private engagements, averaging twice per week. Under the leadership of jazz pianist Mike Seals, the works of Spyra Gyra, Oliver Nelson, Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, Billy Strayhorn, George Gershwin and Rodgers and Hart are as alive today as when they were first written.

The highly talented duo, The Afterthought, is an acoustic/rock group whose core members (Bassam Shuhaibar and Zak Musawi) have been jamming together since 1997, back when "Kuwaiti" and "rock band" were still quite strange bedfellows. They have produced a number of originals since then, drawing on influences ranging from alternative rock to folk to 80's monster ballads.
The Afterthought have performed at a number of local and international venues, including Lebanon and the United States, and have made several appearances on national TV and radio stations. Whether on stage or inside the recording studio, they aim to harness their undeniable creative synergy to continuously redefine their musical boundaries.
