Imagine an initiative here in Kuwait that is fighting against the unnecessary wastage of food vs. those who are impoverished…..we’ve seen the laws change in France against this, where supermarkets cannot throw away food…now Kuwaits youth are bringing awareness to this plight and doing their utmost to turn the tables.
While most of us live a life of having a vast array of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are those who can barely secure a food resource.
Re:food is a humanitarian non-profit initiative by the youth of Kuwait. It aims to eliminate food wastage in Kuwaits food & beverage industry, through food re-distribution to local beneficiaries. The aim….to connect individuals and families with business’ and organisaztions in the fight against food wastage.
